“This symphony is the apotheosis of the dance itself: dance in its most exalted form, the most blissful of physical movement made manifest in sound.” These words by Richard Wagner perfectly describe Beethoven's Symphony No.7: a jubilation, a fusion of body and mind. Prior to this, Pierre Fouchenneret will be making his debut in the Abbey Church of Saint-Robert with Brahms's famous Violin Concerto, a twentieth-century masterpiece of the concerto genre.
